Looking into counselling can feel like a big step but you’re here now and that matters. It’s completely normal to feel unsure, especially with so many different approaches out there. You might be wondering what will actually suit you, and the truth is, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. What really matters is finding someone you feel comfortable with.
If you decide to work with me, my aim is to offer a space where you feel at ease, somewhere you can talk openly, be heard, and make sense of whatever’s been weighing on you. Together, we can find a way forward that feels right for you.
I am trained in pluralistic psychotherapeutic counselling, which means we can draw on a range of different approaches depending on what you think feels most helpful. At the heart of it, I focus on listening, understanding your perspective, and working alongside you. I’m also open to bringing in creative elements with the work we do together if that feels useful.
I offer sessions for people of all ages, either in person at my private practice near Abergavenny or online.
It’s important that you feel comfortable with the therapist you chose, so I offer a free 15-minute consultation where you can ask me any questions you may have and get a sense of whether we can work together.
